Exploring Wolverhampton: CASTLECROFT
25th October 2006

Castlecroft is a local estate on the western fringes of Wolverhampton, just down the road from Finchfield. The area was renowned for the Castlecroft Hotel, but this was demolished a few years back to make way for a housing development. There's still a fair bit to explore though, including the 543 terminus and the local shops on Windmill Crescent - not forgetting the Firs pub, where Rog and I watched England beat Paraguay in the 2006 World Cup!
